7Rings Takes Aim With Its Boldest Release Yet
Fast-growing studio 7Rings Gaming released Dead Gun yesterday on August 20, 2026, a Wild West slot built around a 5×5 grid, 20 fixed paylines, and a 96.09% RTP, capping out at a 20,000x max win target.
Dead Gun is a high-volatility title, and it’s not the studio’s first rodeo into the Western frontier either – Book of Wild West has first dibs on the genre. Dead Gun brings a sharper, more mechanically daring take on the setting, with the maths built entirely around one moving element on the reels.
Speaking to Fruity Slots recently in an exclusive Q&A, 7Rings Gaming CEO Andrii Tsyganov called Dead Gun “one of the most ambitious games the studio has built” to date.
And that ambition centres on the Revolver. Locked and loaded on the reels, it fires bullets onto the grid and turns whatever they hit into multiplier Wilds, with values ranging from 2x up to 51x and beyond depending on the bullet’s metal – gold obviously being worth more. These numbers can keep climbing if the existing Wild gets hit by another Revolver bullet, with no upper limit.
Tension builds with every spin, as the Revolver spins and drops a row lower and lower until it falls off the grid entirely, carrying any stacked multipliers down with it.
Land three or more Scatters and the Bonus Game opens up, introducing the Drum as a second mechanic layered on top of the Revolver. If shot by the Revolver, the Drum is converted into a Wild, shifting every Revolver, Wild, and Multiplier position up one row, awarding one extra Free Spin.
This isn’t the first time 7Rings has experimented with standout mechanics. The Pentagram mechanic from Necro Party proved a popular and widely remarked-upon addition, and Dead Gun continues that pattern of building games around a single, distinctive centrepiece.
We were lucky enough to get an early look at Dead Gun via demo play before the game’s official launch, and in our full review, we covered everything from the mechanics and the Bonus Game to the Boosters and our honest opinion on whether it’s worth your chips. Give it a read before you saddle up to loot this one-horse (or rodent) town.
Dead Gun is officially live now across all of 7Rings’ partner platforms, including Stake, EveryMatrix, SoftSwiss, and Hub88, and available in 20+ languages.
It seems that Dead Gun isn’t the only name on 7Rings’ hitlist, either. The studio is gearing up to end 2026 with a bang, with three new releases reportedly on the upcoming roadmap, including Alien X-vasion.
If Dead Gun is any indication, 7Rings’ next moves are worth keeping an eye on.
