Hellvis Wild blew our minds (and our eardrums), and not just with his skills on the guitar. Tapping into their darker side, Pragmatic Play has done a brilliant job with the graphics, rocking sound effects, and overall design, but did they pull out all the stops in gameplay?

The Golden Wilds feature is not quite as desirable in the base game as we had liked, but this quickly changes in Free Spins. Although a simple feature, Golden Wilds can deliver a certain amount of potential in the base game if multiple Golden Wilds land at the same time, but they would need to start higher up the reels if you are to see any action.

The Free Spins round amplifies the Golden Wilds feature. Each time a Golden Wild lands in view, the reels will collect their Multiplier values so that the next time they hit, they will pack an even bigger punch than the time before.

It seems that Pragmatic Play didn’t venture too far into the darkness, sticking firmly to their safety net of 5,000x for the max win cap. All in all, Hellvis Wild is a great game to rock out to from time to time, but if it’s potential you’re after, you may want to change your tune and look elsewhere.
