Pub Kings is a 5-reel slot with 20 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.20 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€240 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Pub Kings has a theoretical RTP of 96.08% and a max win cap of 5,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Character with the Purple background, followed by Characters with Green, Blue, Brown, and Pink backgrounds. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten.

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 1, 3, and 5 in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.

During Free Spins, each High-paying symbol is associated with a particular reel, from 1 to 5. After each Free Spin, all instances of each High-paying symbol are collected on a progressive meter corresponding to that particular symbol.

Collecting 6 of the same symbol on one reel will enable Level 1 from the random Awards feature for that reel. If you collect a further 3 or more of the same symbol, it will increase the Award Level to the next available, up to Level 7.

In addition to this, after each spin, all the Beers that are next to every symbol from the reel associated with it will be collected. Pub Kings: Our Verdict

Pub Kings turned out to be a fun little slot. It doesn’t innovate in a way we haven’t seen before, but sometimes the most basic features are the most effective ones. The Base Game could be relatively uneventful unless you got the Random Awards Feature, and the prize you get there depends entirely on which reel the scatter symbols land on, and which level you’re awarded. It doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense, but you can’t argue with a cash reward every now and then.

Pub Kings shows its true appeal during Free Spins with a symbol collection feature that amps up the rewards as you collect more and more of the symbols required, and at it’s best, Pub Kings can pay up to 5,000x the bet. We’d have loved to have seen a more capable game with up to 10,000x as a maximum win, but never mind.

Overall, Pub Kings doesn’t really invent anything, and the somewhat generic theme could make it quite forgettable, but it’s entertaining, interesting and even exciting at times if given a chance.
