Fishin’ Triple Pots of Gold POWER COMBO Slot Review
An Irish river runs through this one, rainbow haze soaking the blue water, gold cauldrons balanced along the top of the reels with coins spilling over their rims. Fishin’ Triple Pots of Gold POWER COMBO is one of the few collect-and-trigger slots where the collecting genuinely changes what you get: every coin feeds a pot, and the tokens inside decide whether your bonus arrives as a modest eight-spin round or a six-row monster.
Gameburger Studios has rebuilt Fishin’ Triple Pots of Gold around those cauldrons. They run the entire bonus, and when more than one fires at once, the free spins stack every upgrade together, which sister slots like Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz Ultimate Fever Boost and Fishin’ Triple Christmas Pots of Gold don’t allow.
Underneath, the numbers are steady: a 5×3 grid, 10 paylines, medium volatility, 96.00% RTP and stakes from 0.20 to 60.00. Filling the cauldrons is the whole idea here, and the river pays out when they tip.
Base Game & Features
This is a five-reel, three-row slot with 10 fixed paylines. Wins run left to right from the first reel, and where multiple combinations land on a single line, only the highest pays. All paytable figures below are multiples of the line bet.
The symbol ladder is classic lakeside kit, topped by the Tackle Box and running down through the royals.
- Tackle Box: 5x, 20x, 200x for three, four, five
- Bucket: 3x, 15x, 100x
- Green Lure/Frog and Bobber: 2x, 10x, 50x
- Four-Fish Combo: 1x, 5x, 20x
- A, K, Q: 0.5x, 2.5x, 10x
- J, 10: 2.5x and 10x for four and five
Collect Feature
The Collect symbol is wild, substituting for everything except the Jackpot symbols, and it lands on reel 5 in the base game. When it arrives, it gathers the values of every Cash and Jackpot symbol on that spin. That’s the whole mechanic, and it’s the one doing the heavy lifting between bonuses.
Cash symbols come in four sizes and pay the following when collected:
- Large Rainbow Fish: 5x to 25x the bet
- Small Rainbow Fish: 3.5x to 4.5x
- Green range: 2x to 3x
- Small green range: 0.5x to 1.5x
Four Jackpot symbols sit alongside them: Mini, Minor, Major and Mega, worth from 15x up to 5,000x the bet. They land on reels 1 to 4 in the base game and only pay during the Collect feature, when a Collect symbol arrives on the same spin.
Pair the two and the corresponding jackpot drops. All Cash and Jackpot values scale with your bet.
Fishin’ Triple Pots of Gold POWER COMBO Free Spins & Feature Pots
Coins are the currency of this game. They can land on any symbol except Cash, Collect and Jackpot, and every coin that lands gets collected, randomly adding a token to one of the three Feature Pots.
Each pot keeps collecting until it triggers, and any pot holding at least one token can go off. The coins splashing into the cauldrons are for show; the tokens are what matter.
When a pot triggers, it awards eight free spins carrying that pot’s upgrade. Trigger odds actually fall as a pot’s tokens stack up, and pots reset once you’re back in the base game. Wins pay on the triggering bet, and additional pots can trigger during the feature itself.
Extra Rows Pot
- 1 token: 4 rows and 15 paylines
- 2 tokens: 5 rows and 20 paylines
- 3 tokens: 6 rows and 25 paylines
More Flynn Pot
- 1 token: Collect symbol added to reel 4
- 2 tokens: reels 3 and 4
- 3 tokens: reels 2, 3 and 4
- 4 tokens: reels 1 through 4
Bigger Fish Pot
- 1 token: Cash symbols worth at least 2x the bet
- 2 tokens: minimum 3.5x
- 3 tokens: minimum 5x
Power Combo
The headline move. Any combination of pots can trigger together, and when they do, the free spins run with every triggered pot’s upgrade active at once. Six-row grids with 25 lines, Collect symbols across four reels and 5x minimum Cash values are all possible in a single round. This is where the game stops being polite.
Accumulation Trail
Inside the free spins, every Collect symbol that lands adds to a trail. Each set of three raises the Cash symbol multiplier and awards five extra spins, and the trail holds up to 12 Collect symbols. That’s a possible 10x multiplier on collected Cash values and up to 20 additional spins, all within one round. The trail resets when the feature ends.
Feature Buy
Two buys are available from the base game, both played at your current stake:
- Option 1, 100x the bet: eight free spins on the standard 3-row, 10-line grid, Collect symbols on all reels, every other pot upgraded with three tokens
- Option 2: 24 free spins on 6 rows with 25 paylines, Collect symbols on all reels and Cash values from 5x to 25x
Buying in doesn’t disturb the pot upgrades you’ve already banked in the base game. Option 1 runs at 96.01% RTP and Option 2 at 96.20%, both marginally above the base figure, and neither buy is available above a certain bet threshold.
Win Booster
A toggle rather than a buy, the Win Booster adds an extra bet equal to your base stake, doubling the cost per spin in exchange for a better chance of triggering free spins. Payouts still calculate on the base bet, lines and symbol pays are untouched, and the RTP holds at 96.00% with it switched on. It’s a base-game option only.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.8/10
You spend most of your time on this river feeding cauldrons. Wins trickle, coins land, tokens stack, and the reason to choose it over a dozen other Pots of Gold games is that the waiting isn’t dead time: every token you bank is a real upgrade waiting for the day its pot tips.
The strength is the Power Combo, and it’s not close. One pot firing is a decent round; three together, with the extra rows, the Collect symbols and the fattened Cash values all landing at once, is the best bonus this series has produced.
The weakness is that the game slows its own roll: trigger odds drop as your tokens climb, so the best-built pots are the hardest to tip. It suits patient collectors who like a bonus they’ve grown themselves. Anyone after instant scatter gratification has a riverbed full of faster options. For the rest, the pots are worth filling.
