Immortal Desire Slot Review 2024
Enter the dark and mysterious mansion and explore what rests inside in Hacksaw Gaming’s latest release, Immortal Desire!
We’re returning to the dark side of Hacksaw Gaming’s imagination in Immortal Desire, where creatures of the night come out to play…and they’re very thirsty.
Unlike Bloodthirst, Immortal Desire has a strong female lead. These ladies may look beautiful on the outside, but underneath they’re harbouring a dark and deadly secret…one with fangs.
Is anybody getting Immortal Romance vibes? Everyone? Good, us too. Some slots stand so proudly in the Hall of Fame that they create a ripple through time. It’s like a butterfly effect – Microgaming flapped their wings in 2011 and 12 years later Hacksaw comes to knock it off its pedestal. Will it? Probably not, it’s so triumphant and immortal in both name and nature, but we’re excited for what Hacksaw has to offer nonetheless.
Get ready to sink your teeth into Hacksaw’s latest release, but will we survive the night? Let’s play on and find out!
Immortal Desire Base Game and Features
Immortal Desire is a 5-reel Video Slot with 1,024 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.
The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€100 per spin, with plenty of other alternatives in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.24% and a max win cap of 10,000x.
Symbol-wise, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Lady with the Gold background, followed by the Ladies with Red, Blue, and Purple backgrounds. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, and Jack. Wilds substitute for all High and Low-paying symbols.
Blood Reels
At the beginning of each base game spin, 1 or more reels can transform at random into Blood Reels. Once this happens, all winning High-paying symbols on a Blood Reel will transform into Vampires, revealing a Multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x25, x50, or x100.
The total win from each winning combination is multiplied by the sum of the Multipliers that are included in that win to determine the final win value.
As an example, if a winning combination consists of 5 winning symbols of one type, of which 2 are present on Blood Reels and both have a Multiplier of x10, the total Multiplier for the win will be x20, and the final amount will be determined by counting the base win for those 5 symbols times the Multiplier of x20.
Blood Reels will always apply the same Multiplier to Vampire symbols on the reel. Blood Reels are only able to appear during the base game and Blood Moon Free Spins, up to a maximum of 5 Blood Reels.
Immortal Desire: Blood Moon Free Spins
Landing 3 FS Scatters in the base game triggers the Blood Moon Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.
During this round, all landed Blood Reels will remain in play until the end of the Free Spins round. Blood Reel Multipliers are refreshed with each spin. Landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters during this time will award an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins respectively.
Immortal Desire: Dark Awakening Free Spins
Landing 4 FS Scatters in the base game triggers the Dark Awakening Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.
During this round, only non-paying symbols, Awakened Multipliers, and Coffin symbols are present on the reels. Above each reel sits a Multiplier value that increases with each Awakened Multiplier and Coffin symbol that lands.
At the end of the round, the Multiplier values above the reels are added together and multiplied by your current bet to determine the final outcome.
Awakened Multiplier Symbols
When an Awakened Multiplier symbol lands, it will increase the value of Multipliers above the reels. Awakened Multiplier symbols can add or multiply, affecting one or all of the reel multipliers. Regular Multipliers can only affect the reels they appear on, whilst Epic Multipliers apply to all reels.
- Regular Adding Multipliers – x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, x20, x25, x50, x75, x100, x250, or x500.
- Epic Adding Multipliers – x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, x20, x25, x50, x75, x100, x250, or x500.
- Regular Multiplying Multipliers – x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9, or x10.
- Epic Multiplying Multipliers – x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9, or x10.
Coffin Symbols
Coffin symbols that land will remain in their position until the Free Spins round ends. At the end of this round, all present Coffin symbols will reveal a multiplying Multiplier which is then applied to their respective reel multipliers. Coffin symbols can reveal a Multiplier value between x2 and x10.
Landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters during this time will award an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins respectively.

Immortal Desire: Our Verdict
Immortal Desire isn’t quite the Immortal Romance killer, but it’s another interesting offering from a provider that barely misses.
On offer here are some staple Hacksaw Gaming Mechanics, which isn’t a bad thing considering their proven capabilities. Multipliers are quite evidently Hacksaw’s game, and while they’ve used them in a similar fashion to other games, it still has that undeniable sense of anticipation. It feels as if any moment could be the moment that things go crazy, and when testing it ourselves we were quite impressed with its capabilities.
In true Hacksaw fashion, it comes with 2 bonus rounds. Although the Dark Awakening is the better bonus, we confess ourselves fans of the Blood Moon Bonus from what we’ve seen so far. Dark Awakening has a Chaos Crew vibe to it, but the Blood Moon bonus makes it feel a bit more unique. Both are quite exciting though, and both are capable of delivering a 10,000x max win – also fairly standard for Hacksaw Gaming.
Overall, we think Immortal Desire is a job well done. It doesn’t stand out as one of their flagship games, but it’ll be undoubtedly popular.
