Base Game & Features

Consisting of 5 reels and 5 rows, Inferno Mayhem operates under a Cluster Pays mechanic. Winning combinations trigger when 5 or more identical symbols appear in a horizontal or vertical alignment.

The Skull is the highest-paying symbol, followed by the Boot, Wristband, and Fizzy Drink. Other symbols include Spades, Hearts, Clubs, & Diamonds as the lowest-paying symbols. After a win is confirmed, each winning cluster awards a fixed payout between 2x and 250x your bet. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatters.

Respin Feature

During any base game spin, the Respin Feature can trigger, adding 1 or more Wild symbols to the reels with an active Multiplier between x2 and x500. If there are several Multiplier Wilds awarded in the triggering spin, all wins affected by them will be applied before they’re paid out.

Each Wild symbol that appears in the triggering spin will award an additional +1 Respin to the feature.

Our Honest Verdict

PG Soft rarely miss when it comes to theme, presentation, or feature sets, and Inferno Mayhem is no exception. While the game does not offer a wide range of features or mechanics, its streamlined format makes for a smoother, more accessible experience that is easy to engage with.

The base game revolves around the Respin feature, which can trigger without warning and instantly shift the anticipation. Its real impact comes from the Multiplier Wilds of up to 500x your bet, which awards serious volatility and makes the 25,000x max win potential seem within reach, even before factoring in the added firepower of Free Spins.

The Cluster Pays mechanic increases the frequency of winning combinations, but the absence of Cascading reels limits its overall impact. Without this mechanic to sustain consecutive wins, all the excitement built from a hit ends immediately rather than transforming into something bigger.

In the Free Spins mode, Wild symbols remain in place for the duration of the session, although it is unclear whether Multiplier Wilds benefit from the same persistence.
