Down a crystal-walled mine shaft, dynamite is stored with an optimism that borders on recklessness: a FRAGILE crate heaped with lit fuses, sticks bundled round a barrel, more wedged into the blue rock wherever a gap will hold them. For all that explosive on display, Prospector Wilds: Get Lit sets off just one charge. Prospect Gaming have piled the whole game onto a single bonus round, and the base game, ten winlines and all, is mostly there to carry you towards it.
It runs on a 5×3 grid with 10 winlines paying left to right from reel 1, at 95.15% RTP, and the Hold & Win round’s fixed 5,000x Mega Jackpot is the ceiling. Whether one very good round is worth a thin everything-else is the question this game has to answer.
Base Game & Features
The base game is a straightforward ten-line affair. Wins pay left to right, starting from reel 1, and only the highest combination on a winline counts. There’s no twist on the winline side to learn.
The reel set splits into royals and premiums. A, K, Q and J fill the lower end, while pickaxe and shovel symbols sit at the top of the ladder, in keeping with the setting. The special symbols, the ones the bonus round feeds on, are their own category again.
Wilds can land on all five reels and substitute for every non-special symbol. If a run of Wilds is interrupted by a special symbol, the win is worked out from the paytable as it stands. That’s the whole of the wild’s job here, and it’s a useful one.

Hold & Win
Six is the magic number. Any time a group of six or more Special Bonus and/or Special Mini, Minor and Major Hold & Win Prize symbols lands together, the round begins and the board grows: one extra row is added above and one below, expanding the grid to 5×5, and the winlines are switched off for the duration. That expansion is the game’s third headline feature, listed alongside the Wilds and the bonus itself, and it’s what turns a 15-position reel set into a 25-position collection grid.
You start with three respins. Only four kinds of symbol can land on the expanded board, and each has its own job:
- Special Bonus symbols: cash values from 1x up to 10x stake
- Special Mini, Minor and Major Hold & Win Prize symbols: fixed jackpot tiers
- Special TNT Multiplier symbol: increases the multiplier of every position on the same reel and row by +1x

Ante Bet
The Ante Bet costs 1.5x your stake per spin and doubles the chance of hitting the Hold & Win bonus. Wins are still paid against your base stake, not the boosted cost.

Overall Rating: 7/10
Playing this is a lot of quiet tunnelling punctuated by one loud bang, and the bang is the reason anybody picks it. Sessions settle into a rhythm of small line wins and patient waiting, and then the board suddenly grows and the whole mine lights up.
The best thing here is that Coin Shower never leaves you stranded: when it fires, the bonus is on, full stop, which is a braver promise than most drop features will make. The worst thing is how little there is to do between bangs – ten winlines and plain wilds make the waiting genuinely plain, and a 95.15% return means the tunnel keeps a bit of your lamp oil for itself.
This is a game for people who’d happily dig through a modest base game to reach one well-made collection round, and for nobody who wants variety along the way. If the single-charge design sounds right, there’s real dynamite at the end of it.
