Space Haul Inc. Slot Review
An orange freight rig squats on violet dunes under a pink nebula, turquoise coil-springs glowing in its stubby hydraulic legs, a huge mauve planet crowding the sky beside it. Space Haul Inc. doesn’t really have a payline game at all – it has a courier service, and the 5×3 grid is just the route the parcels take. INO Games have routed nearly every payout of consequence through the coins and the Wilds that collect them, and the reels themselves are close to an afterthought.
It runs on a 5×3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, at 96.02% RTP and high volatility, with stakes from 0.20 to 40.00. The paytable is modest – the top symbol pays just 20x for five – so the coin ladder, which climbs to a red coin worth 5,000x the bet, is where the real money sits. Sister title Mega Forge Tons O’Cash covered similar ground for the studio; this one pushes the collect idea further.
Base Game & Features
This is a 5 reel, 3 row slot with 10 fixed paylines. Wins pay left to right from the first reel, and only the highest combination counts per line – if two winning combinations land on the same payline, the higher one is paid and the lower is discarded. The total payout for a spin is simply the sum of every payline win on it.
It’s a simple layout, and deliberately so. The paylines aren’t where this game keeps its interest; they’re the steady drip that runs underneath the coin collection, which is where everything else happens.
Symbols and Pays
Five creature symbols and five royals make up the paytable, and none of them are going to move the needle on their own:
- Orange Space Creature (racer) – 4x for three, 8x for four, 20x for five
- Purple Bird-like Creature – 2x for three, 4x for four, 10x for five
- Blue Robot Creature – 1x for three, 2x for four, 8x for five
- Green One-Eyed Creature – 1x for three, 2x for four, 8x for five
- A, K – 0.4x for three, 1x for four, 4x for five
- Q, J, 10 – 1x for four, 4x for five
Those figures are multiples of the line bet rather than the total stake, which is worth knowing: with 10 lines in play, a five-of-a-kind racer win is the full bet multiplied twice over, not twenty times the spin cost. The Q, J and 10 pay nothing at all for three of a kind.
Wilds substitute for everything except the Coin and Scatter symbols, and they don’t pay on their own. Their value comes from what they do to the coins, which is the whole game. Scatters pay nothing either; their only job is triggering the bonus.
Wild Collect
Coin symbols land with cash values attached, and every Wild that lands collects all of them at once. Land two Wilds on a spin and every coin on the reels pays twice; three Wilds, three times over. The ladder runs wide:
- Yellow Coins – 0.2x to 5x the bet
- Green Coins – 10x to 20x the bet
- Blue Coins – 25x to 50x the bet
- Purple Coins – 100x to 500x the bet
- Red Coin – 5,000x the bet
The gaps between tiers are steep. The jump from a Green Coin to a Blue Coin is from 20x to 25x, but the jump from Blue to Purple is from 50x to 100x, and the red sits alone at the very top, ten times above the best purple.
The clever part is the chest. Coins that don’t get collected aren’t discarded; they’re stored in a chest sitting outside the reels, and that chest can randomly fling stored coins back onto the grid whenever a Wild is present. It works in both the base game and Free Spins, and it means no coin is ever entirely dead money.
Whether the chest pays out is decided at random, so a spin with a Wild on the reels always carries a small chance the backlog lands too. It keeps otherwise quiet spins worth watching, and it means the value of a Wild isn’t limited to the coins visible when it lands.
Space Haul Inc. Free Spins
Three, four or five Scatters anywhere on the reels award 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively. Scatters appear in the base game only, and the triggering bet carries through the whole round – every free spin plays at the same stake as the spin that opened the feature.
The Battery
During the round, every Wild that lands fills one position in a battery on the side of the reels. Fill four positions and the battery fires, awarding 10 additional spins. This can happen up to three times, so a long round keeps escalating rather than running out of road.
The additional spins are played after the initial award runs out, and the battery carries on filling in the meantime. In theory a round that keeps landing Wilds can run to 20 initial spins plus three lots of 10 on top – 50 spins at the upper limit, each one subject to the multiplier in force when it plays.
Coin Multipliers
Wild Collect wins start at a 2x multiplier in Free Spins, and each time additional spins are awarded the multiplier climbs. The progression runs 2x, then 3x, then 5x, then 10x at the top. At the maximum, a purple coin worth 500x pays 5,000x, and a red coin would too, though the round is capped before it gets silly.
That cap is 5,000x the bet. If a Free Spins round reaches it, the win is paid and the feature ends immediately. When only one or two Wilds land on a spin, extra Coin symbols can drop in to collect, which keeps short rounds from stalling out entirely.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing Space Haul Inc. is mostly waiting for freight. You spin, coins pile into the chest, and nothing feels like it’s happening until a Wild arrives and the manifest clears. That’s the one reason to choose it: no other collect slot makes the leftovers matter this much, because here they genuinely come back.
The battery is what makes the game. A round that retriggers doesn’t just run longer, it pays on a different curve, and the climb from 2x to 10x means a hot session can reach the cap in one delivery. The problem is the waiting itself: with a 19.32% hit rate and a top symbol worth 20x, the stretches between collections run long, and high volatility makes them longer.
It’s for players who enjoy a patient build and don’t need the reels to pay for themselves. Anyone after frequent line wins will find this cargo holds mostly air. For the rest, the chest keeps every coin on the books, and that slow accumulation is the whole trip.
