Wolf It Up! Again Slot Review
A sunny meadow, a straw stack, a stone house with a gilded roof and a red-roofed cottage sit along a curving dirt path, the grid framed by a bramble hedge twisted into a picture frame. It’s the Three Little Pigs in thick children’s-book outlines, and Wolf It Up! Again has quietly decided they’re scenery: the regular pays are thin enough that this game’s real money sits well away from its win lines. It’s an Inspired build, from a studio with plenty of form in this territory – Centurion Megaways and Reel King Megaways among their better-known titles.
It runs on a 5×3 grid with 10 win lines, paying left to right across adjacent reels from the leftmost one. The game itself shows no RTP (Inspired lists 94.5% and 92% settings), and the biggest figure it commits to anywhere is a 2500x base stake cap on the gamble. The pigs, mostly, are decoration – the money is elsewhere.
Base Game & Features
The base game is a classic cash-collect setup wearing a storybook coat. Cash symbols land on reels one to four carrying stake multiples, and they only pay out when a Collect symbol arrives to sweep them up. A wild on reels two, three and four substitutes for everything except Collect, Bonus and Apple symbols.
The regular symbol pays, as multiples of stake:
- Wolf – 0.5x for two, 2.5x for three, 4x for four, 20x for five
- House – 2x for three, 3x for four, 15x for five
- Axe/Stump – 1.5x for three, 2.5x for four, 10x for five
- Rocking Chair – 1x for three, 2x for four, 5x for five
- A, K, Q, J, 10 – 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 2x for five
Collect and Bonus Collect Symbols
The Collect symbol appears on reel five in the base game. When one lands, every Apple symbol in view is collected, with each Collect symbol in view gathering the lot. Apple values in the base game run from x1 up to x100 of the stake.
The Bonus Collect symbol also lives on reel five, and it’s the door to the free spins. Land four or more Apple symbols together with a Bonus Collect and all the apples are banked plus eight free spins are awarded, in the Cash Bank Free Spins Bonus.
The Apple Pile and the Wolf Wheel
Apple symbols that appear don’t just pay – they also feed an Apple Pile beside the reels. Once at least one apple is on the pile, the wolf can wander out in front of the reels at random and toss another apple onto it. Each apple added gives a chance of triggering the Wolf Wheel Bonus.
The Wolf Wheel’s Main Wheel can award the Cash Bank Free Spins Bonus, an Upgrade Wheel spin, or one of the Mini, Minor and Major Prize Pots. The Upgrade Wheel sits above that: it can award the Double Collect or Golden Apple free spins, or the Grand Prize Pot. It’s a two-tier ladder, and the top rung is one spin away only via the upgrade.
Wolf It Up! Again Bonus Features
Cash Bank Free Spins Bonus
Eight free spins, entered either through four-plus Apples with a Bonus Collect or by landing a Free Spins position on the Wolf Wheel. During the round, Prize Pot Tokens appear on reels one to four, and collecting sets of them pays from a meter:
- Three Mini tokens – 10x base bet
- Four Minor tokens – 25x base bet
- Five Major tokens – 50x base bet
- Six Grand tokens – 1000x base bet
The meter empties after each award, so a single bonus can pay the same pot more than once. Apple symbols landing during free spins can also trigger the Free Spins Wolf Wheel, which awards extra spins or a Major or Grand Prize Pot.
Double Collect and Golden Apple Variants
The Double Collect Cash Bank Free Spins Bonus is reached only through the Wolf Wheel’s Double Collect position. Collect symbols are added to reel one as well as reel five, and Apple symbols join reel five too. The collection mechanics run on both flanks of the grid.
The Golden Apple Cash Bank Free Spins Bonus turns every Apple symbol golden, with a minimum value of x10 stake and a ladder running x10, x20, x30, x50 and x100. Both variants share the same Prize Pot token structure as the standard round.
Bonus Buy
The Bonus Buy button skips the apples and the pile entirely, selling direct entry into one of the bonus rounds. Four options are on the counter:
- Wolf Wheel Bonus
- Golden Apple Cash Bank Free Spins
- Double Collect Cash Bank Free Spins
- Mystery Cash Bank Free Spins – one of the three Cash Bank bonuses, picked at random
Fortune Spins, Fortune Bet, Gamble and Spin Chance
Fortune Spins swaps the standard reels for a stripped-back set containing only Cash, Blank, Collector and Bonus Collect symbols, with cash values from x1 to x100. Land four or more Cash symbols together with a Bonus Collector and the Cash Bank Bonus follows.
Fortune Bet raises the stake to 1.5x in exchange for more frequent Wolf Wheel Bonus triggers. Awards, gamble entry, big win thresholds and Cash symbol values all stay tied to the base stake, so it’s a pure frequency buy.
After a win, the optional Gamble offers two wheels. The left one can lift winnings by a third, double or triple; the right one gambles the win for one of the three free spins bonuses. Green pays, red loses everything staked.
The most the gamble can ever return is capped at 2500x base stake or 250,000.00, whichever is lower. Spin Chance fires automatically when credit drops below the current price of a spin but isn’t yet zero, offering the remaining balance as a wager on one more base game spin. Green awards it, red takes the lot.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
Playing this is mostly watching a pile of apples grow, one toss at a time, until the wolf finally strolls out and spins the wheel. That slow build is the reason somebody picks it over a dozen other collect slots – the meadow is charming, but you’re here because every spin feels like it’s feeding something.
The Prize Pot meter is the cleverest thing in it. Because it empties after every award, one hot bonus can pay out two or three times over, which is rarer than it should be in this genre. The lean paytable is the honest cost: five wolves pay just 20x and the royals barely register, so if the apples and pots stay cold, there’s very little underneath.
It’s a good fit for a player who enjoys the long gather-and-release rhythm of a collect game and doesn’t need the base spins to pay their way. Anyone who wants their wins to come from the lines themselves will go hungry in this meadow.
