Beast Below Base Game and Features

Beast Below is a 5-reel slot with 14 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€100 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Beast Below has a maximum win cap of 10,000x.

Expanding Sirens

During Free Spins, a special Expanding Diver symbol will come into play. When it appears, it expands into a full Diver reel. Divers are Wild Multiplier symbols that remain on the reels for a limited time after expanding.

Each expanded Diver symbol will start off with 3 Oxygen Charges. Once a Diver symbols Oxygen Charge reaches 0, it is removed from play at the end of that particular spin.

Beast Below: Our Verdict

Let us start by saying how beautifully designed Beast Below is. Hacksaw are known for their stunning artwork, yet the depiction of the stormy seas and the depths below here are really striking. The monsters you see here aren’t like anything you’ve seen before; it’s as if we’ve dived straight into the uncharted waters of the Mariana Trench.

The sea is shockingly horrifying in the best kind of way in Beast Below, but how is the gameplay?

Beast Below is very Hacksaw indeed. If you took away the recognisable characteristics and left only the game then we’d probably have guessed it was their creation on features alone. They’ve once again made use of expanding multipliers which they expand upon in The Siren’s Call Bonus, and once again there’s also a superior bonus round which was rightfully so the most impressive part of the game.

The Down Below bonus shows Hacksaw’s aptitude in expanding multipliers once more and this time they’re much more capable, especially if you land more than one.

Once again, the maximum potential is 10,000x, which seems to be a staple figure for Hacksaw slots.

Overall, Beast Below was a shockingly good instalment from Hacksaw Gaming. They’re slowly becoming one of the most prominent casino providers out there with carefully crafted and very capable games.
