Kraken’s Sky Bounty Base Game and Features

Kraken’s Sky Bounty is a 6×6 Video Slot with 50 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.25 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€250 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.05% and a max win cap of 5,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Swords, followed by the Cannon, Helm, and Rum. Low-paying symbols fall to Red, Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, and Pink Gems. Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatters.

If more than 1 Wild symbol lands inside the square frame, after expansion, the newly expanded Wild symbol will reveal a Multiplier value equal to the number of Wilds that were inside the square frame. This Multiplier is applied to all wins that pass through it.

Kraken’s Sky Bounty Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters across the reels during the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 6 Free Spins and a payout of 3x, 10x, 30x, and 100x your bet respectively.

During Free Spins, the Square Frame is always present on the reels, moving from one random position to another with each spin. The square frame begins at 2×2 in size.

Each Scatter symbol that lands are collected and stored in the Meter above the reel set. Every 3 Scatters collected will retrigger the round, awarding an additional +2 Free Spins and a bigger Square Frame, up to 6×6 in size.

After the 4th retrigger, Scatter symbols will no longer be collected and the round is unable to be retriggered. Triggering the Free Spins round with 4, 5, and 6 Scatters will start the round with +1, +2, and +3 Scatter symbols already collected respectively.

Kraken’s Sky Bounty: Our Verdict

Kraken’s Sky Bounty is as visually pleasing as it is entertaining. When you first load the game up, you automatically assume that Pragmatic Play has chosen to expand their Cluster Pays collection, but that’s actually not the case here.

Alongside the fantastic backdrop, animations, and graphics, Pragmatic Play has also upped the appeal by including a Bonus Buy option and an Ante Bet feature. Those in the UK won’t benefit from the Bonus Buy option, but you can still get on in the action thanks to the Ante Bet feature that increases your chances of triggering Free Spins when active.

The main attraction in the base game is the Expanding Wild feature which can trigger at random. Landing the square frame in view is the easy part, it’s landing Wild symbols inside it that is a little harder to achieve.

The best you can hope for during this feature is landing 2 Wilds in the square frame at the same time. This will not only activate the Expanding Wild feature but a random Multiplier equal to the number of Wilds in the frame will trigger, multiplying wins that pass through it.

More of the same can be seen in the Free Spins round, but with a few adjustments made. During this time, the Square Frame will remain in view for the duration, starting at 2×2 in size.

A bit like the Big Bass series, you will need to collect Scatter symbols in a Meter above the reel set in order to grow the square frame, up to 6×6 in size, but you don’t get many spins to do this.

Overall, Pragmatic Play offers up another great experience yet again, though we don’t envision it being a blockbuster hit
