12 Masks of Fire Eruption Prize Flow Slot Review
12 Masks of Fire Eruption Prize Flow is at its best when nothing important is happening. Strip away the fire and the masks and you’re left watching two conveyor tracks beside the reels, scrolling cash prizes and jackpot tokens downward on every spin while you wait for a bomb to land and claim one. That’s a bold design choice, and arguably the wrong one: the paytable pays a maximum of 40x for its best symbol, so the game has deliberately made its own lines boring in order to make its sides interesting.
The game comes from Gameburger Studios, the studio behind the long-running Masks of Fire series. The essentials are a 5×4 grid with 20 fixed paylines, 96.00% RTP and high volatility, with stakes running from 0.20 to 50.00 per spin.
If you know the family, the closest relatives are 12 Masks of Fire Night Fever and 9 Masks of Fire HyperSpins. Our August 2026 review of Night Fever credited the bonus rounds with earning their keep while noting the base game asked very little of the player. Eruption Prize Flow attacks exactly that problem by making the base game itself the conveyor.
Base Game & Features
The layout is classic Gameburger: five reels, four rows, and a paytable built on sevens, bars, bells and cherries rather than anything themed. Wins run left to right across 20 fixed paylines, and only the highest combination on each line counts. The hit frequency is 29.62%, so roughly three spins in ten produce something.
Prize Flow Tracks
The Prize Flow is the headline system. Two tracks sit either side of the reels, each with two inactive positions at the top and four active prize positions at the bottom. On every spin, all prizes move down one position, so what’s available is constantly changing.
The prizes themselves come in three kinds:
- Cash prizes from 1x up to 10x the bet, in steps of 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x, 4x, 4.5x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 7.5x, 8x, 9x and 10x
- Jackpot Tokens, which grant a chance at the Jackpot with the matching number and may raise that jackpot’s meter level
- Combo prizes, which can randomly award up to 10 prizes in any mix of cash and tokens
Prize Bombs
Prize Bombs are what set the tracks off. In the base game and Free Spins they land only on reels 1 and 5: a bomb on reel 1 activates a prize on the right track, a bomb on reel 5 activates one on the left. Each bomb triggers one prize, and the same prize can be triggered several times on a single spin.
There’s a neat follow-on. Once a Prize Bomb has activated its prize, it turns into a Wild symbol, and line wins are paid after that conversion. Wilds substitute for everything except Epic Strike symbols, Bonus symbols and Prize Bombs.
Epic Strike Jackpots
The Epic Strike symbol is a scatter that pays a jackpot when three or more land anywhere on the reels. Jackpot values run from 1x up to 5,000x the total bet, they scale with your stake, and only the highest win is paid per combination. Epic Strike scatters can’t be substituted by Wilds.
Fever Boost
Fever Boost is a purchasable base-game modifier. While it’s active, only Epic Strike symbols, Bonus symbols and Prize Bombs remain in play; everything else stops appearing and stops paying. It raises the chance of Epic Strike jackpots, both bonuses, and more Prize Bombs landing. The catch is that bombs no longer convert to Wilds while it runs.
The cost is an additional bet equal to 4x your base bet, and all payouts are still calculated on the base bet. That makes it a pricey lever, and one aimed squarely at players chasing jackpot tokens rather than line wins.
Paytable
Payouts are relative to the base bet, with the bet multiplier at 10:
- Red 77 – 2x for three, 15x for four, 40x for five
- Blue 77 – 1.5x for three, 6x for four, 12x for five
- Single 7 – 1x for three, 4x for four, 8x for five
- Cherry – 0.2x for three, 0.5x for four, 1.2x for five
The top of the paytable is modest. Even five Red 77s return 40x, which tells you where the real money is expected to come from: the jackpot ladder and the Prize Flow, not the lines.
12 Masks of Fire Eruption Prize Flow Bonus Features & Free Spins
Two distinct bonuses hang off the same trigger. Bonus symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4, and landing all three guarantees one of the two bonuses; landing one or two gives a random chance of a trigger on any non-winning spin. Which bonus you get is decided by the game.
Free Spins Bonus
The Free Spins Bonus awards 10 free spins, with additional Prize Bombs added to the reels at the start. That’s the whole upgrade: same tracks, same mechanics, more bombs feeding them. Landing three Bonus symbols during the round awards 10 more spins, and the feature can retrigger this way repeatedly.
Jackpot Bonus
The Jackpot Bonus is the louder of the two. During it, only Prize Bombs appear on the reels; every other symbol is cleared away. The round keeps spinning until at least one jackpot is awarded, which makes it the one feature in the game with a guaranteed floor.
It’s also where the Jumbo Prize Bombs live:
- 2×2 Jumbo Bomb – activates 4 to 6 prizes
- 3×3 Jumbo Bomb – activates 9 to 18 prizes
- 4×4 Jumbo Bomb – activates 16 to 40 prizes
Bombs can land on any reel during this round, with those on reels 2, 3 and 4 pulling from either track. A single 4×4 Jumbo can set off most of both tracks at once, and the same jackpot can be paid multiple times on one spin.
Bonus Buy
Both bonuses can be bought directly from the base game at the prices shown on the buy menu, played at your current bet. A Bonus Buy button sits alongside the reels with its price displayed. The option may be unavailable above certain bet thresholds and isn’t offered in all regions. All buy configurations run at the same 96.00% RTP as the standard game.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.3/10
The trade here is simple: give up a paytable worth caring about, and in exchange every spin carries two extra layers of possibility. We think it’s a fair deal, but only for a certain kind of player. If you judge a slot by its line wins, this one caps out at 40x and will feel mean; the Prize Flow’s cash prizes mostly pay single-digit multiples, so the frequent activity is real but rarely lucrative.
What it does well is the Jackpot Bonus, the one feature here with a guaranteed floor and the only place the Jumbo Bombs appear. What it does badly is value for money: Fever Boost costs 4x your base bet as an add-on, pays on the base bet, and kills the bomb-to-Wild conversion while it runs. The Free Spins round is the weaker bonus dressed in the game’s best lighting.
It suits system-watchers: players who enjoy tracking meters and prize ladders. Everyone else should stick with the family’s earlier entries.
