Stitchers Get Stitches Slot Review
The lights are off in this toy shop, the plush toys on the shelves have eyes that glow red in the dark, and something has stitched them back together wrong. Stitchers Get Stitches is built on a conviction most splitting games don’t share: that the grid you end a spin with matters far more than the grid the reels delivered. On its 6×4 board, Stakelogic lets a wild, a chainsaw and a full-grid massacre each multiply symbols mid-spin, so a modest landing of premiums can leave the cabinet stuffed with copies.
It shares its cute-creepy register with Devil’s Trap and Dracula, though the toy-shop setting does more work than either’s gloom. No RTP or volatility figures are published for it. What it promises instead is a free spins round where the cumulative multiplier never resets, and a chainsaw with an appetite for plush.
Base Game & Features
Four mechanics share the base game, and they’re all pulling in the same direction: getting more symbols onto the grid than the reels physically delivered. A spin can end with a single symbol type split across dozens of positions. Here’s what each piece does:
- Stitches Wild – lands on reels two to five, splits a random high-paying symbol type
- Chainsaw Symbol – lands on reel six, splits its row or triggers the Massacre
- Chainsaw Massacre – chainsaw plus Stitches, splits the whole grid
- Multiplier Symbols – land in three modes, boost the current spin’s win
Stitches Wild
The wild lands on reels two to five and substitutes for all paying symbols. When it does, one high-paying symbol type already on the reels is selected at random. Every instance of that symbol then splits into either two or three copies, with the count chosen at random for each one.
A modest cluster of premiums can become a wall of them in a single motion. That’s the game’s engine, and the other features exist to feed it or to feed off it.
Chainsaw Symbol
The chainsaw only lands on reel six, and what it does depends on company:
- Alone – it splits every symbol on its row from right to left into two or three copies, at random
- With a Stitches wild – it stops trimming its own row and triggers the Chainsaw Massacre
The direction of the split matters for how a win builds. Because the chainsaw works from right to left, the symbols nearest it multiply first and the copies spread leftwards along the row, so the row’s final shape depends on where each original was standing when the blade arrived.
Chainsaw Massacre
When the chainsaw lands with Stitches, all symbols on the grid split into two or three copies each. The only thing exempt from it is the Multiplier symbol. Everything else on screen gets multiplied in place, which turns a routine spin into something that can fill the cabinet.
It’s the rarest and largest of the base game outcomes, and it stacks the two other mechanics at once: Stitches selects a high-paying symbol type to split, and the chainsaw extends that treatment to everything. The reels can end the spin carrying several times the symbols they started with.
Multiplier Symbols
Multiplier symbols can land in the base game, in free spins and in the Hold N Win feature. In the base game they carry these values:
- x2
- x3
- x5
- x7
- x10
The value applies to the total win of the current spin, and if several land, their values are added together rather than multiplied. Two of them on one spin, a x3 and a x5, boost the win by x8. After applying, each one becomes a Coin that drops into the Coin Slot, which is a visual flourish and nothing more; the coins pay nothing on their own.
The Massacre leaves them untouched. A spin can therefore carry both a full-grid split and a multiplier stacked on top of it.
Stitchers Get Stitches Free Spins & Hold N Win
Free Spins
Two things change in the free spins round, and both matter:
- Stitches appears on every spin – the wild-and-split mechanic stops being a visitor and becomes the setting
- Multipliers become cumulative – each value is added to a running total that lasts the whole feature and never resets
It doesn’t reset. A x3 on the first spin, a x5 on the fourth and a x2 later in the round leave you playing the rest of the feature with every win multiplied by ten, then twelve, then whatever the round builds to. With Stitches splitting symbols on every spin feeding wins into that figure, the feature compounds in a way the base game only gestures at.
The longer it runs, the less anything early matters and the more everything late does. That’s the whole design, and it’s a good one.
Hold N Win
The second feature is a coin round. There’s no stated trigger for it; what’s defined is what happens once it’s running. Coin values on the reels are enhanced by multipliers and special modifiers, and the multipliers in this round are smaller than the base game’s:
- x2
- x3
- x5
Each Multiplier that lands applies its value to between one and three random Value symbols on the reels. Where several target the same Value symbol, their values stack additively before applying, so a x3 and a x5 on one coin pay as x8. Once applied, the Multiplier symbol is removed from the reels.
They can’t land at all unless at least one Value symbol is already there. The multipliers exist to grow coins, never to float around with nothing to grow.
The round runs step by step. A Value symbol lands, then a Multiplier arrives beside it, picks its target from up to three coins at random, applies its value and disappears, leaving the enhanced coin sitting on the grid. The special modifiers work alongside the multipliers to lift the coin values further.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing this is a long game of watching things grow. Every spin in the feature round adds to something that outlasts it, and that’s the one reason to pick this cabinet over the hundred other horror slots on the shelf: the stitched-up toys aren’t decoration, they’re the payout structure.
The best thing here is the free spins round’s refusal to wipe the slate. Because the running multiplier survives every spin, a feature that limps through its early spins can still finish huge, and that’s rarer than it should be. The worst thing is the guesswork this game asks for: with no RTP or volatility published, you’re spinning without knowing the odds, and nothing about the pretty cabinet changes that.
If you like features that build and build and don’t mind going in blind on the maths, the toy shop is worth the visit. Players who want the numbers before they commit will find the dark shelves a bit too dark.
Stitchers Get Stitches FAQs

How do you trigger the Chainsaw Massacre in Stitchers Get Stitches?
The Chainsaw Massacre triggers when the Chainsaw symbol lands on reel six at the same time as a Stitches wild. Every symbol on the grid then splits into two or three copies. -
What does the Chainsaw symbol do on its own?

How do multipliers work in the Hold N Win feature?
Multiplier symbols in the Hold N Win round carry values of x2, x3 or x5 and apply to one to three random Value symbols. If several target the same Value symbol, their values stack additively before applying. A Multiplier can only land when at least one Value symbol is on the reels. -
