Sugar Loot Spark Slot Review
Somewhere past the syrup river, a castle made of waffle cone and whipped cream watches over thirty spots of candy, and none of it is worth much on its own. That’s the wager Sugar Loot Spark makes: an eye-searing candy kingdom from GameArt where the paytable is genuinely stingy and the game doesn’t care, because the multipliers underneath it are the entire economy. If that sounds like a flaw, it’s worth seeing how far a doubling mechanic can carry a thin ladder before the sugar runs out.
It runs on a 6×5 grid where eight or more matching symbols scattered anywhere pay, at 96.29% RTP. Volatility isn’t stated. The closest thing GameArt has to a sibling here is Legends of the Wild Moon, a very different flavour from the same kitchen.
Base Game & Features
There are no paylines. Wins land when eight or more of the same symbol appear scattered across the six-by-five grid. It’s the cluster-pays setup familiar from the big candy games, and it means every spin is one long look for a crowd rather than a line.

When a win forms, the winning symbols vanish and the gaps refill with new ones. If the refill creates another cluster of eight or more, that’s a second win on the same spin, and the chain keeps going for as long as new clusters keep forming. Chains like that are where this game keeps its teeth, because every winning cluster leaves something behind.
Progressive Multipliers
Multipliers appear behind winning symbols, starting at x1. On each cascade, if a new winning symbol lands on a spot that already carries a multiplier, the values are added together and applied to that cascade’s total win. Every new winning symbol that lands on a multiplier doubles it – so a spot that gets hit three times in one chain goes x1, x2, x4.
The two halves of that work together. A spot that reaches x4 and then takes another winning symbol contributes its full doubled value to the sum, so the total applied to a cascade isn’t the biggest multiplier on the board – it’s every multiplier the new win touches, added up. On a grid where a large cluster can cover a dozen spots, that adds up quickly.
In the base game the multipliers run up to x64 and reset each round. That’s the whole rhythm of the game: build a cluster, let the cascade stack the maths, and hope the drops keep landing on the hot spots.

Sweet Prize Loot
On any round that doesn’t win, in the base game only, up to three SWEET PRIZE LOOT symbols can land. Each awards an instant win carrying a multiplier of x5, x15, x20 or x50 applied to the total bet. If more than one lands, the multipliers are added together before they’re applied, so the best case is all three landing at the top value for x150 the bet in one go.
It’s a consolation mechanic that can occasionally be the main event. Three of them on a dead spin is a decent return from nowhere. It doesn’t appear during free spins, so the feature round stands entirely on its multipliers.
Symbols and Pays
Wins pay as a multiple of stake, across three bands: eight or nine of a kind share one value, ten or eleven share the next, and twelve or more take the top figure:
- Pink swirl candy – 4x for 8-9, 8x for 10-11, 36x for 12+
- Orange striped candy – 1.2x for 8-9, 2x for 10-11, 12x for 12+
- Blue donut candy – 0.8x for 8-9, 1.6x for 10-11, 8x for 12+
- Purple hexagon candy – 0.6x for 8-9, 1.2x for 10-11, 6x for 12+
- Heart – 0.48x for 8-9, 1x for 10-11, 5x for 12+
- Yellow square candy – 0.4x for 8-9, 0.8x for 10-11, 4x for 12+
- Green circle candy – 0.32x for 8-9, 0.6x for 10-11, 2x for 12+
- Purple triangle candy – 0.24x for 8-9, 0.4x for 10-11, 1.2x for 12+
- Blue jellybean – 0.16x for 8-9, 0.32x for 10-11, 0.8x for 12+
The pink swirl is the one worth twelve of. The ladder drops away quickly below it – only three other symbols reach double figures at twelve-of – and everything else is small money until a multiplier or two gets involved, which is the point of how this game is built.
Notice the shape of the bands, too. The ninth, tenth and eleventh symbols of a cluster are worth nothing on their own: eight and nine pay identically, as do ten and eleven. The jump that matters is the one to twelve, where the pink swirl leaps from 8x to 36x and the orange striped candy from 2x to 12x. On a thirty-spot grid, that top band is reachable often enough to be the thing you’re watching for.
The ceiling on this game is the multiplier system itself: the x128 cap a sticky spot can reach during free spins is the highest figure the maths can produce, and everything between a cascade win and that cap is where the money lives.
Sugar Loot Spark Free Spins & Bonus Features
Landing four or more SCATTER symbols triggers 12 free spins. The scatters are bomb candies, and they’re the only way into the round.
Inside the round, the progressive multiplier system changes in the way that matters most: multipliers stay sticky until the free spins end, and their cap rises from x64 to x128. A cascade chain that fizzles in the base game keeps its work in here. A spot that doubles to x8 on the first spin is still an x8 spot on the twelfth, waiting for a cluster to land across it.
Three or more scatters during the round award three extra spins, and there’s no limit on how many times it can retrigger. The maths of the round is therefore cumulative – every cluster that builds a multiplier spot is building a spot the rest of the round can cash in on, and late spins in a long round are worth more than early ones.

Bonus Buy
The buy menu sits behind the BUY BONUS button on the game’s left side, over the lollipop in the corner. Selecting a bonus from the menu and confirming deducts the cost from the cash balance and triggers it directly. There’s only the free spins round to buy here, and the price is shown in the menu at the point of purchase rather than fixed in the rules.

Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
This is a game you play for the feature round and nothing else, and it’s honest about that from the first spin. Between a lollipop leaning over the reels and the occasional Sweet Prize Loot drop on a dead spin, the base game is mostly a wait: pleasant to look at, rarely paying for itself. You spin it to get to the good part.
The good part is very good. Sticky multipliers that survive spin to spin, doubling as they go, turn the free spins into a slow build where a late cluster can cash in on everything the round has stacked before it. That’s the strongest version of this format, and it works here.
The weakness is that nothing else pays. Below the pink swirl, the ladder is pocket money, and a feature round that never gets its multipliers running can end with barely a dent in the buy-in. Still, the build is the draw: anyone who likes a bonus round that compounds, and doesn’t need the base game to entertain them, will feel right at home here. Players who want their spins to pay something while they wait won’t.
