That double-build is Alchemy Gaming‘s twist on its own formula, and it’s what separates this from a shoal of siblings including Bass Cash X UP and Bass Cash Christmas X UP. The numbers sit at 96.00% RTP, very high volatility, a 5×5 grid with 3,125 ways, stakes from 0.20 to 60.00 and a maximum win of 4,950x the bet. It’s a lot of machinery for one reef.
Fish, Ways and the Fisherman
Wins pay left to right across 3,125 ways, with matching symbols needed on adjacent reels, and only the highest combination counts per way. The wild lands on reels two to five and substitutes for everything except the scatters, bonus symbols, fish and the Fisherman. It doesn’t pay on its own.
Cash Fish land carrying a multiplier of the total bet, in three sizes. The possible values are:
- 0.2x, 0.4x, 0.6x, 0.8x and 1x the bet (Small fish)
- 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x and 3x the bet (Medium fish)
- 5x, 8x and 10x the bet (Large fish)
One Cash Multi-fish can land per spin, and it duplicates into a random number of positions, inflating the fish count on the reels. Jackpot Fish only appear in the base game and free spins:

The Fisherman is the collection symbol. He lands on reels one and five, one per reel, and doesn’t form wins himself. One Fisherman collects every fish prize once; two of them collect everything twice.
Winston the Dog
Winston interrupts play in two ways. His Wild Catch dives mid-spin to reveal cash and jackpot fish, sometimes with a Gold Scatter, before the reels stop, with a Fisherman guaranteed to land and collect them. His Bark fires after the reels settle and converts one Cash Fish into a CASHINGO Cash Fish or a Cash Multi-fish.
The CASHINGO Feature
CASHINGO is the new idea here, a bingo card sitting behind the reels. CASHINGO Cash Fish and CASHINGO Jackpot Fish transfer from the reels to the matching position on the grid, and if a position is already occupied, the new value is added to the fish sitting there.
Completing a horizontal, vertical or corner-to-corner diagonal set of fish pays out the combined cash values, and up to four sets can complete on a single spin. Intersecting fish count towards each set they touch. Only fish that formed part of a winning set are cleared; everything else stays put.
A set containing one or more Jackpot Fish awards the associated jackpot, but a Jackpot Fish can never be the fish that completes a set, and only one of each tier can sit on the grid at a time. The grid runs in the base game, free spins and the Bass Cash X UP Bonus.
The X UP Trail
The X UP trail is a six-level ladder of cash multipliers, driven by token collection. Two Red Scatters award one token; two Blue Scatters permanently increase one multiplier on the trail. Each level needs more tokens than the last:
- Level 1: no tokens required, tiers of 1x and 2x
- Level 2: 1 token, tiers of 2x and 4x
- Level 3: 3 tokens, tiers of 3x and 6x
- Level 4: 6 tokens, tiers of 5x and 8x
- Level 5: 10 tokens, tiers of 8x and 10x
- Level 6: 15 tokens, tiers of 10x, 12x and 15x
Blue Scatter upgrades start at the highest level and work down, each multiplier improvable once, with level six getting a second boost after everything else is maxed. Those scatters vanish from the reels entirely once the 15x top tier is reached.
The Gold Scatter appears on reel one in the base game and the Bonus, and one of them pays out the active trail multiplier on that spin’s cash prizes. It also blocks fish from landing on reel one that spin. Jackpot prizes can never be multiplied.
Free Spins
Three or more Red Scatters anywhere trigger eight free spins, with the active trail multiplier applied to cash prizes from the first spin. Further tokens can be collected during the round to push the multiplier higher, and two Red Scatters award two extra spins and one token.
Red Scatters only appear on reels one and five in the feature, the round plays out automatically, and it can’t be retriggered. Bets and ways stay as they were on the triggering spin. Collected tokens reset when the feature finishes.
Upsizer and Bonus Recharge
Two paid options hang off the feature. Upsizer is offered before free spins begin and buys the 15x maximum multiplier for the whole round, at the price displayed, unless the trail is already maxed. Bonus Recharge is offered when free spins end, letting you continue the round at a state-based cost, with the number of continues set by region.
The Bass Cash X UP Bonus
The Bonus is triggered from the base game by collecting at least one Bonus symbol in each of the five rows, and the collection can build across multiple spins. Once it starts, the reels strip down to Fisherman, Trophy, Gold Scatter, Cash Fish, Multi-fish and their CASHINGO variants, with everything else replaced by blanks.
A Fisherman lands on reel one or five every spin, so prizes are collected constantly. Gold Scatters pay out the active trail multiplier. Jackpot Fish can’t land here at all; instead, Gold, Silver, Red and Blue Trophy symbols collect as they appear, and any three of a kind ends the round with the matching jackpot, one per Bonus game.
On return to the base game, all five row collections reset and the climb starts again.
Win Booster and Buy Feature
The Win Booster is a base game toggle with three mutually exclusive modes, unavailable above a certain bet threshold and not in every region:

This is a slow current of a game. You sit on the reef feeding fish onto a bingo card while the multiplier trail climbs, and the reason to choose it over plainer collect slots is that there’s almost always a meter inching forward, even on spins that pay nothing.
The permanent progress is the best of it. Blue Scatter upgrades stick for good, so an hour of play genuinely leaves the game easier to win than when you sat down. The worst of it is the token reset on the way out of free spins, which hands back the climb you did that session, and the jackpot fish being barred from the Bonus leaves the biggest prizes in only two of the three rounds.
It’s a good home for the patient builder who likes watching two things grow at once. Anyone chasing frequent feature hits will find the water here far too still.
