About AceRun

If the spade in the logo didn’t tell you anything, their name surely will. AceRun are a slot studio with a clear identity, and it’s an old-school one, despite being founded in 2022.

Their catalogue of around 20 slots leans hard into classic fruit machines, crowns, gems and jokers, the furniture of the land-based cabinet rather than the cinematic themes a lot of studios chase.

What keeps it from feeling like a straight throwback is the mechanics. Hotfire and Xpand are theirs, and they run right through the range: Joker Box Hotfire, Devils Luck Hotfire Hold & Win, 40 Crown Hotfire and Golden Donkey Xpand all build on one or the other.

Mechanically, Hold & Win is the other constant in their catalogue. Donkey Coins Hold & Win and Joker Box Hotfire Hold & Win pair the studio’s own features with the respin-and-collect format, and the Golden Donkey line has become a recurring series with seasonal entries alongside the main releases.

In terms of distribution, AceRun is also part of Yggdrasil Gaming’s YGG Masters programme, allowing their games to reach broader markets around the world and easily integrate into different casino operator infrastructures, benefiting from the studio’s licensing and partnerships.

AceRun’s RTPs sit around the industry average – 95%-96%, veering on high volatility, with an average max win potential of 5,000x, which is respectable for an indie provider.

“AceRun is a studio I admittedly know little about, but there’s something comfrting about how they stick to classic themes and Hold & Win mechanics. A modern classic studio, for sure.” Daniel, Slots Reviewer

“If you like Hold & Win mechanics and classic slots decked out in gold and red, AceRun is definitely one to try. Polished releases, and Joker Box Hotfire is really fun. highly recommend trying them out.” Maya, Content Editor
