Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity Slot Review
The reels are the least important part of Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity. They turn in a misty river valley of karst peaks, pagodas and moored wooden boats, but the real business happens on the red-tiled roof above them, where four lacquered treasure chests sit waiting to be filled.
Every coin that lands is banked in one of those chests, and a full chest is the ticket to the round that matters. Pragmatic Play has made the collecting the point rather than the preamble.
The maths is a 5×4 grid, 25 paylines, 96.50% RTP and high volatility, with a 15,000x maximum win and two bonus buys at 200x and 750x the bet. Where Chests of Cai Shen 2 ran medium, this one turns the aggression up and lets the roof do the work.
Base Game & Features
The grid runs five reels by four rows, with 25 fixed paylines. All symbols pay left to right on adjacent reels from the leftmost, only the highest win counts per line, and multiple line wins add together. Stakes run from 0.25 to 250.00 per spin.
Respin wins are treated separately: they’re added on top of payline wins and paid once the round completes. The paytable itself is thin, and it’s worth being direct about that. Here’s the full ladder:
- Warrior in gold robe: 0.16x for two, 0.4x for three, 0.8x for four, 3.2x for five
- Bull: 0.24x for three, 0.6x for four, 2x for five
- Rabbit, Pig, Snake and the Ace: 0.24x for three, 0.4x for four, 1.2x for five
- King, Queen, Jack and Ten: 0.16x for three, 0.32x for four, 0.8x for five
The top symbol, a warrior figure in a gold robe, is the only one that pays for two of a kind, and even five of it returns just 6.40x the line bet. The wild is the 福 character, appearing only on reels two, three, four and five. It substitutes for everything except the Bonus Coin and Money symbols, and that’s its whole job.
Bonus Coins and the Four Chests
Five types of Bonus Coin can land in the base game: green, blue, red, purple and quad. Each colour feeds its matching chest on the roof. Collection happens at the end of the spin, and every time a coin is collected there’s a random chance the chest fires the Chest Respin feature with its associated modifier attached.
The quad coin is the wildcard. It banks an instance in all four chests at once, and each of those collections can independently trigger the feature, with one, two, three or all four modifiers stacked into the same round.
Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity Bonus Features
When the feature starts, the normal symbols fade away and only blanks and Money symbols remain on the strips. Any Bonus Coins on screen when the round triggered transform into Money symbols carrying the same values they had in the base game.
The round begins with three respins, and every time at least one Money symbol lands, the respin count resets to three. Money symbols stick until the end. Each one takes a random value when it hits:
- Standard values: 0.6x, 0.8x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 14x, 16x, 20x or 30x the total bet
- MINI: 10x the total bet
- MINOR: 20x the total bet
- MAJOR: 150x the total bet
The round ends when the respins run out or every position on screen is filled. Fill the screen completely and the GRAND, 5,000x the total bet, is awarded on top. At the close, all values on screen are added together and paid.
The Four Modifiers
Each chest carries its own modifier, and a round triggered with several of them runs all of them at once. What each one does:
- PROSPERITY (green chest): after any respin, up to three Money symbols already on screen can have their values upgraded by a random amount
- FULFILLMENT (blue chest): the screen is divided into four zones, each carrying a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x or 100x, applied to every Money symbol in that zone once it’s full
- DOUBLE (red chest): the round plays out on two grids of 5×3, each starting with the transformed Bonus Coins
- LONGEVITY (purple chest): the round starts with four respins instead of three, and every Money symbol hit resets the count to four
The zone multipliers are where the ceiling lives. A full zone holding a 100x multiplier turns a modest screen into something serious, and the modifiers compound.
A DOUBLE round can carry four zones on each grid.
Bonus Buy
Two buys are available from the base game, and both guarantee the modifier stack that normally depends on chance:
- BUY 100X FULFILLMENT, 200x the total bet: triggers the round with the Fulfilment modifier guaranteed, and at least one 100x multiplier guaranteed on one zone of the grid
- BUY 100X QUAD, 750x the total bet: locks in all four modifiers for the round, with at least one 100x multiplier guaranteed on one zone of each grid
Both buys run at the same 96.50% RTP as the base game, so there’s no mathematical penalty for either route. The 750x price on the quad buy is steep against a 15,000x cap, though it’s the only way to be certain of the full four-modifier round.
One hard rule governs every round: if a Chest Respin’s total reaches 15,000x the bet, the round ends immediately, the win is paid and all remaining respins are forfeited. The cap applies to the whole round, not per grid.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.8/10
Most of a session here is spent watching four chests fill, one coin at a time, and that’s the point. Even a losing spin banks something up on the roof, which is more than the line wins ever manage on their own.
The modifier stacking is the strength, and it’s real rather than cosmetic. A solo trigger and a quad-triggered round with all four running are different games entirely, and the 100x zones give even a sparse screen a route to a serious result.
The weakness is the silence between rounds. High volatility sits on top of a paytable where five of the best symbol pays 6.40x the line bet, so the quiet stretches run long and there’s no gentler setting to soften them. This one belongs to players who enjoy the slow filling and can sit through the droughts; anyone after frequent hits will find the river runs far too slow. But when a quad coin drops into all four chests at once, the whole valley lights up.
Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity FAQs

What is the RTP of Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity?
96.50%. The figure is the same for the base game and for both bonus buys, so there’s no return penalty for buying the feature. -

Yes, it’s a high volatility game, which means payouts land less often on average but the chance of a big win in a short session is higher. -
How do you trigger the Chest Respin feature in Chests Of Cai Shen – Infinity?
Bonus Coin symbols are collected into their matching chests at the end of each spin. Every collection has a random chance to trigger the Chest Respin feature with that chest’s modifier attached.
